This shredder was horrible. Get a real shredder people. Just about everytime you put a piece of paper in there to be shredded it gets stuck and makes a mess everywhere.

Shredder doesn't fit waste can and doesn't work. I am returning, and, I am expected to pay the return postage. Very unsatisfied!

I put this shredder on an old trashbin, plugged it in and started shredding right away. It shreds pretty good. However I did try to shred an unopen bill and it got stuck! I just put it in reverse and it came back out..Whew!..*Note to self--May not be a good idea to shread unopened envelopes..

This item is just enough shredder to satisfy the needs of a small family.
I am more than pleased with this shredder to dispose of the occasional pre-approved credit offers and mailed bills paid online, also bank statements. This shredder is just enough.

This little shredder works great for home shredding. I just set it on top of my trash can and feed away. It'll automatically shut off when it gets too hot to save the motor. No problem. Let it rest after larger jobs.
Why buy a big unit attached to a giant plastic bin that'll get discarded when the thing burns out? This little unit does the trick.
