I put this shredder on an old trashbin, plugged it in and started shredding right away. It shreds pretty good. However I did try to shred an unopen bill and it got stuck! I just put it in reverse and it came back out..Whew!..*Note to self--May not be a good idea to shread unopened envelopes..

This little shredder works great for home shredding. I just set it on top of my trash can and feed away. It'll automatically shut off when it gets too hot to save the motor. No problem. Let it rest after larger jobs.



Why buy a big unit attached to a giant plastic bin that'll get discarded when the thing burns out? This little unit does the trick.
