This shredder is fantastic for my needs. I was looking for something compact and efficient, just for minimal use. After doing some research I stumbled upon this product. And so glad I did! It suits my needs to a T. It takes up very little space. Works like a charm for what it is intented-doing small jobs. Not once have I had to unclog it. Although they do include a tool for this particular job, should you need it. I shredded a credit card (yeah!) and although the machine completed the job, had trouble with it. Kinda like the little engine that could.... I have a multi cat household, and this has no exposed teeth or anything sharp where their curiousity would get them hurt. Plus, the machine is of a substantial weight and made well, so I confident it is not going to tip over and break. All considered, including the price, this was an excellent purchase for me.

This is a nice, unobtrusive little shredder that sits under a coffee table. I use it to shred sensitive mail, junk mail and paper bags for my compost bin. It is perfect for what it is meant to do -- light work, easy disposal, etc. It is not the most powerful shredder out there and I wouldn't use it in a commercial office. But if you are looking for a good at-home paper shredder, you can't beat the price and the design.

I purchased this shredder for at home use to shred important documents I no longer felt comfortable throwing away. It works very well and I've been able to shred as I go when doing my bills. You have to fold a piece of 8 1/2 by 11 paper before putting it in and you have to shred one piece of paper at a time, but it's fine for shredding old tax returns and statements.It only took me a few minutes to get through several years worth of tax returns. I also like that fact that the shredded remnants are recyclable as packing material for mailing things.

This is a nice little shredder for small amounts of paper at a time such as mail or receipts but full sheets need to be folded in half. It had no problem shredding credit cards. It sits under my coffee table to give you a sense of size. Great for people with limited space.

just got it today, works great. i had two year's worth of statements to shred. im sure it could have done it all nonstop but i did half first then gave it a break before finishing the second half cause i didnt wanna risk the shredder overheating. but either way my shredding is usually light. just some junk mail and a few voided checks and it works awesome for that. it shredded staples and credit cards too. it's great for small jobs. sure you have to fold the papers in half but if you're like me and dont have much to shred it's worth it. not to mention it's compact so it fits just about anywhere.
