The shredder does what they claim it will do. It seems sturdy enough for the job although a bit underpowered - shredding 8 sheets is really pushing it. 5 is fine, any more and it bogs down a bit.

After years of replacing shredders I'd say my expertise has increased. The Honeywell shredder has some good points - it's small, cuts quickly, and has a clear switch which is much easier than having to feed other papers in to clear a unit. However if paper is not fed straight it often cuts off, hence the NEED for a clear switch. I preferred the twenty buck sit on top of any bucket unit it replaced. You can get them at any local office supply store or discounter.
