We purchased this shredder for our small office, and it has worked well for us so far. It handles anything we throw at it without complaining. It is a little messy when you empty the bin, but we have been able to use regular trash bags to minimize that issue.
One minor gripe: The input slot is fairly narrow and not tapered like our previous shredder. This makes it a little more difficult to make use of the shredder's ample shredding power.
Overall, we're happy with the product and would recommend it.

I have had the SB-97c for close to three months. Its been through a lot of shredding and has performed very well. Even with some long periods of shredding it has never over-heated. If you have read the reviews; it is everything they said about it. Its a darn good shredder!

My mom had saved up a year's worth of confidential docs from work, lacking a shredder. So we purchased a smaller Aurora which gave up the ghost almost immediately. This one did all of them (ended up with 6 big black plastic trash bags worth!) and is still going strong. Worth the money!!!

This shredder is excellent - even shreds CDs, DVDs and credit cards. However, I have a ton of old client files to shred and you can only run it for 20 minutes continuously and then it must cool down for 40 minutes. An inconvenience if you have a lot of shredding to do at once. But I am still happy I purchased it.

I THOUGHT PAYING LOTS OF MONEY WOULD BE CRAZY, ESPECIALLY IN THIS ECONOMY, BUT BUYING LITTLE CHEAP ONES AND NOT WORKING OR BREAKING DOWN,OR EVEN GETTING PAPERS STUCK WAS NOT WORTH IT. I WANTED A SHREDDER THAT WAS GOING TO LAST. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS WORTH THE MONEY!!!
