"Haven't been able to melt this one" 2009-03-08
By James Turnure
None of these homeowner shredders are designed to run more than maybe 10% duty cycle. I'm the first to admit that I don't follow the directions. We stuff more sheets in it than it can handle; run it straight for 20 minutes and don't allow it to cool down. I typically only let it rest when it starts to "smell a little electrical." Yet after all this, it still works fine. I'd recommend it.

"It Jams FAR TOO EASILY" 2008-02-25
By Stormy Weather
At first.. it was great. But the more we used it, the more frequently it jammed. And the harder it became to clear those jams. If you need something for "light to moderate" shredding, it'll be fine. But if you have lots of stuff to shred (such as when you are moving or just getting rid of boxes of paper in the actic), this is not what I would recommend. Mine jammed for the LAST TIME today. After working nearly an hour to try and unjam it, I'm done.. it's going in the trash, and I'm replacing it with a shredder that's less likely to jam.

"First Shreader, I love it." 2007-05-28
By T. Stude
I had a huge pile of old bills and papers that I needed to shred. I was able to go through that very quickly. My wife was sleeping and she did not even hear the shredder in the other room. I have tried out the credit card shredder and it works great. It has only jammed on me once, I put too way too much in, but the reverse took care of that right away.

 "Shredding" 2007-04-02
By John P. Seifert (Colorado Springs, CO USA)
I owned a Fellowes shredder previously and selected the PS-65C based on the performance of the older product. I am pleased with the new PS-65C.

 "Great Shredder" 2007-02-25
By Marilyn I. Caplette (Cromwell, CT United States)
Very sturdy, takes any papers right through with no problem. I used the credit card slot the other day & that works great too. The only criticism I have is that it's not really cross-cut; it's more like 3/4 inch strips which seems fine. I'm very happy with this shredder.
